Production process of Blow Molding Component
1. Raw material preparation
Material selection: According to the requirements of the product, select the appropriate plastic material, commonly used including polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Particle processing: The selected plastic particles are dried and mixed to ensure their fluidity and uniformity during the injection molding process.
2. Melting and injection
Molten plastic: The plastic particles are heated to a molten state, usually using a screw extruder. Temperature control is essential to avoid overheating or degradation of the material.
Injection mold: The molten plastic is injected into the mold to form the initial preformed product (usually in the shape of a tube).
3. Blow molding
Gas injection: After the plastic is cooled and partially solidified, the plastic is expanded to the inner wall of the mold by injecting gas (usually air). This process is called blow molding.
Mold closure: Ensure the airtightness of the mold during the blowing process to maintain the gas pressure and form the desired shape.
4. Cooling and solidification
Cooling process: By controlling the mold temperature and cooling time, the plastic is fully cooled and solidified in the mold to ensure the stability of the product shape.
Temperature control: Temperature control is very important at this stage to prevent deformation or stress in the finished product.
5. Demolding
Opening the mold: After the product has cooled, open the mold and take out the finished product. At this time, you need to ensure that the demoulding process is smooth to avoid damage to the finished product.
Deburring: Check whether the product has burrs or excess plastic and remove them.
6. Post-processing
Inspection and testing: Inspect the size, appearance and performance of the finished product to ensure that it meets the design specifications and quality standards.
Surface treatment: If further surface treatment (such as spraying, printing) is required, it can be carried out at this stage.
7. Packaging and Shipping
Packaging: Pack qualified products and prepare them for shipment. The packaging material should be protective to avoid damage during transportation.
Inventory management: According to order requirements and production plans, arrange inventory reasonably to ensure timely delivery.
